Trackers Earth is a youth organization that inspires kids to navigate real challenges. We believe they can truly contribute, developing the grit and character they need to thrive! Kids learn old-school outdoor skills: wilderness survival, farm craft, wild foraging, fishing, martial arts, boating, and more. All this in immersive camps and programs filled with epic story and adventure.

Job Summary

As an Intern Guide, you can help greet kids and families, preparing them for their day of outdoor adventure or assist during after camp, engaging kids in afternoon activities. In this role you develop educational and group leadership while teaching. 


  • Greet campers and families as they arrive and depart for the day
  • Provide fun, engaging, and safe experiences for campers before and after their outdoor adventures
  • Provide assistance with activities for campers to support Leads, Coordinators and Supervisors
  • Develop skills that will help you become a Trackers Guide and beyond  
  • Participate in Trackers training and collaborate with a career coach to prepare for your future goals
  • Report directly to a Trackers Coordinator
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


  • Completed Vaccinations for COVID-19 (verification required)
  • Interest in the outdoors (maybe even a future career option)
  • Friendly, positive attitude and proactive mindset
  • Communication skills, ability to interact with kids and parents
  • Food Handlers certified (or able to complete before starting)
  • Model Trackers values

Work Commitment

This is a temporary seasonal position. 

Interns have the opportunity to work one or both shifts:

  • 7:15am - 9:15am
  • 2:30pm - 4:30pm

Interns can commit to the first or second 7 weeks of summer, or both.
